The Bikini Cocktail
Makes enough for 10 guests
For the Clementine Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
To make the Premix (makes 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine cordial (from the recipe above)
Whole cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Directions
For the Cordial: Place every items inside a pot, heat until it reaches a light boil, stirring to dissolve. Then, turn off the burner allowing it to cool down entirely. Decant into a sterilised bottle, cap it keeping it in the fridge, it can be stored for about a month.
Preparing the Premix: Combine the specified spirits and syrup in a sizeable container, let it rest for an hour, then strain best through cheesecloth, so it's perfectly clear.
To serve: Add 85ml of the cocktail base into a cocktail shaker filled with ice, and stir gently for one minute to cool it down. Pour into a cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, top with the cranberries and complete it by giving it a brief mist of mandarin oil over the drink.
